Job Title: Immigration Case Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
The Immigration Case Coordinator at the law firm is responsible for assisting attorneys under the supervision of assigned attorneys and the Chief Human Resources Officer. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of immigration to effectively perform a wide range of duties, including:
- Preparing and filing nonimmigrant applications/petitions (E, H, L, TN, O) and immigrant petitions (EB 1 to 3), adjustment of status, and immigrant visa applications.
- Preparing, filing, and overseeing labor certification filings (PERM), with the expectation to discuss the process of an application/petition during interviews.
- Understanding prevailing wage concepts and calculating corresponding wage levels, with the expectation to explain the process during interviews.
- Familiarity with the concepts of Delitizer and Kazarian.
- Performing case intake, analyzing case documents, and drafting correspondence, memos, or summaries.
- Maintaining positive contact with clients and ensuring the confidentiality of client matters.
- Organizing client documentation, monitoring workload, and production.
- Regularly communicating with clients and foreign nationals regarding case filings.
- Monitoring expiration dates and preparing case status reports for clients using case management systems and programs.
- Supporting the department with other assigned tasks and projects as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or paralegal certification is required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- A minimum of three years of experience as an Immigration Case Coordinator is required.
- A minimum of three to four years of experience in preparing and filing nonimmigrant applications/petitions is required.
- A minimum of three to four years of experience in the preparation and oversight of labor certification (PERM) filings with the Department of Labor is required. The candidate must thoroughly understand PERM work and be extremely diligent about accuracy.
- Previous experience with INSZoom is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and document management systems, is required.
- Outstanding case/project management and organizational skills are required.
- Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the ability to work independently toward team goals are necessary.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.

Salary Information:
The position offers an hourly range of USD to USD.
