Job Title: Asset Management - Hedge Fund/Private Credit Operational Due Diligence - Vice President

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct and lead on-site manager visits to assess operational risks of hedge funds and private credit investments. This includes evaluating aspects such as infrastructure, third-party service providers and administrators, financial operations, legal and compliance, staffing, financing/counterparty arrangements, and information technology/cybersecurity.
- Drive the firm's perspective on operational risk issues affecting hedge fund and private credit managers and portfolios.
- Collaborate closely with internal groups such as Research, Marketing, and Risk within the department.
- Represent the company to clients and external audiences.
- Prepare written analyses and research for internal use, and present findings at internal Investment Committee meetings and educational sessions.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 7 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in an Operational Due Diligence (ODD) role at a hedge fund, private credit investment, or advisory organization.
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Ability to apply knowledge and experience to assess operational risks and relevant ESG factors across a range of alternative investment managers and operating environments.
- Knowledge of global capital markets and the factors influencing them.
- Demonstrated experience in external client relations, including communication with sophisticated investors both individually and in large group settings.
- The candidate should be a thought leader and a natural partner, focusing on adding value beyond simply fulfilling obligations.
- The candidate must possess confidence and poise to interview senior-level non-investment staff such as COOs, CFOs, Heads of Operations, and CCOs, and develop and maintain strong relationships both within and outside the firm.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Desired prior experience in hedge fund/private credit administration, operations, accounting, bank hedge fund credit, or audit.
- A concentration in Accounting/Finance is preferred.
- Advanced qualifications such as an MBA, CPA, JD, and/or CFA are considered advantageous.
- Prior people management experience is a plus.

Salary Information:
- The base pay/salary for this full-time position in New York, NY, ranges from $118, to $285,.

The role is situated within the department of Asset & Wealth Management, focusing on hedge fund and private credit investments for the Alternatives Solutions Group. The candidate will play a crucial role in the initial and ongoing manager due diligence process, contributing to the enhancement of the Operational Due Diligence process and collaborating with investment and risk management teams. The role demands developing independent views on operational issues and sustainability practices of underlying managers and participating in projects to keep the ODD practices at the industry's forefront.
