Job Responsibilities:
The Director of Administration at the law firm is tasked with acting as a business partner to the Office Managing Partner and senior leadership team. The role involves contributing to the strategic planning and implementation of goals and objectives for the office. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing direction, guidance, and advice to attorneys and staff regarding the general business operations of the firm and the office.
- Assisting in the staffing and development of attorneys in collaboration with the Office Managing Partner, Managing Director of Administration, and senior leadership team.
- Keeping abreast of current and pending employment laws, judicial precedents, and market trends to make informed recommendations for the business and operational strategy.
- Assisting in developing administrative and business goals for the office.
- Partnering with key figures such as the Office Managing Partner, Managing Director of Administration, and Chief Administrative Officers to develop, interpret, and monitor office practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with firm goals and priorities.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of the firm’s space planning.
- Collaborating with leadership from other offices and functional areas to develop and implement cross-office initiatives that are complex in scope and design, demonstrating leadership to ensure successful implementation.
- Overseeing the supervision and development of office staff, including hiring, staffing assignments, training, performance evaluation, feedback communications, and compensation recommendations.
- Handling the development, implementation, and management of the annual office operating budget.
- Managing and partnering with outsourced services such as facilities, office services, hospitality, and reception to ensure consistent and excellent service offerings.
- Cultivating a positive and respectful office culture and work environment.
- Undertaking other responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director of Administration and senior leadership team.

Education and Experience:
Candidates are required to have a . Five to ten years of demonstrated experience in major functions of the position is strongly preferred. Experience with commercial leasing, relocation, and construction is desirable.
