Corporate Counsel – Strategic Transactions, Emerging Products & Messaging

Job Responsibilities
The Corporate Counsel at the company will be a key player in the Legal Department, providing support for Strategic Transactions, Advertising Solutions, and Business Communications teams. The role involves:
- Engaging and collaborating with outside counsels.
- Working with internal clients to structure, prepare, discuss, determine, and finalize agreements and letters of intent.
- Acting as a specialist and key resource for driving the overall legal framework, including establishing various policies and training internal clients on legal issues as needed.
- Counseling and guiding business clients on a wide variety of sophisticated and developing issues.
- Supporting senior attorneys on project work by conducting research and analysis.

Education and Experience Information
- A minimum of 2 years, preferably 5+ years, as a business attorney with relevant in-house and/or top law firm transitional experience.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university with outstanding academic credentials.
- Ability to lead projects and initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Experience in researching sophisticated legal matters.
- Capability to mentor and lead others informally in areas of expertise.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven collaboration with other legal and business professionals in a sophisticated organization with a focus on delivering results efficiently.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and drafting skills.
- Keen business sense with excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong prioritization skills, execution, and results orientation with a passion for success.
- Ability and desire to work as part of a team.

Salary Information
The base pay range for the Corporate Counsel role is between $123,200 and $222,200. The actual pay for a successful candidate will be based on factors such as work location, qualifications, and experience, and will vary within this range. Additionally, the Corporate Bonus Target is set at 15%.

Employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
