Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
The Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney will be responsible for analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions related to first-party property and general liability matters. The role involves litigation tasks such as taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions. The attorney will also engage in interpreting contracts and representing insurers in complex coverage claims, which includes monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in both state and federal courts across the United States. The position requires collaboration with primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, insurance brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate will have between two (2) to seven (7) years of experience in insurance coverage analysis and litigation. Strong research and writing skills are essential for the role. is required. The firm is open to considering candidates for partnership opportunities if they possess relevant experience. While experience in insurance law is preferred, the firm is also interested in candidates with strong litigation skills who have a demonstrated interest in insurance law.
