Defense Attorney Workers' Compensation

Job Responsibilities:
- Represent the company's insureds in all phases of litigation for cases of moderate technical complexity.
- Achieve optimal outcomes for clients through technical excellence in case handling.

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor degree.
- 5 or more years of experience in the legal area.
- Must be a member of the Bar in good standing in the jurisdiction(s) where practice is located.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Experience with legal research databases such as Lexis or Westlaw.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims processes, and the insurance defense litigation legal environment.
- Understanding of law and procedure.

Salary Information:
- The starting salary range for this position is $135, - $155,.
- Eligible for a short-term incentive bonus set at 10%.
- Salary expectations outside the range are considered based on experience, skill, and education.
