Job Title: Subrogation Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary client contact for insurance company representatives, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
- Complete the intake process for new matters, which includes running and clearing conflicts, sending acknowledgments to clients, and assigning cases to the appropriate attorney.
- Assist attorneys in identifying interested parties through simple web searches and public databases, supporting the legal team in gathering necessary information.
- Prepare letters and other correspondence for attorneys, ensuring all communication is professional and accurate.
- Interface with the billing department to process invoices for expenses, review monthly invoices to clients for expense reimbursement and attorneys' fees, and process clients' settlement funds.
- Maintain and update various case management databases to ensure all information is current and accessible.
- Prepare and maintain case management spreadsheets in Excel, providing a clear overview of case details and progress.
- Review clients' property insurance claim files and prepare spreadsheets itemizing indemnity payments and identifying documents supporting those payments, ensuring thorough documentation and analysis.
Education and Experience Information:
- Required: A minimum of 3 years of experience with insurance claims at a law firm, an insurance company, or working for a claim adjustment company.
- Preferred: Strong preference for candidates with property subrogation experience.
- Preferred: Experience with property insurance claims is highly valued.
- Preferred: Familiarity with the typical categories of coverage in a property insurance policy is an advantage.
