Job Title: Tax Manager, Real Estate and Construction
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager at the company, the primary responsibility is to provide tax consulting and compliance services to clients within the real estate and construction industries. This role involves conducting tax research, collaborating with clients on various tax matters, and implementing special projects. The Tax Manager will work directly with clients and tax engagement teams to identify and execute tax planning strategies, prepare tax calculations, and manage client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in tax consulting and compliance services for a diverse clientele in the construction and real estate sectors.
- Performing tax research and collaborating on tax matters with clients.
- Implementing special projects related to tax planning and compliance.
- Managing tax engagement teams and client relationships.
- Developing staff within a highly interactive team environment.
- Leading multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Enhancing client experience and contributing to the company's success.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting is required.
- A Master’s degree in Taxation or an LLM is considered a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Experience with Real Estate Partnership is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on real estate and construction, is required.
- Proven successful engagement and client management skills.
- Experience in resolving client issues creatively and becoming an expert in the role.
- Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and resolve problems as they arise.
- Demonstrated experience in growing client relationships.
- Strong leadership and mentorship experience is essential.
Salary Information:
The compensation for this role varies based on several factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed wage range is $84, - $201, per year. It is noted that it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
