Responsibilities of a Workers Compensation Attorney:
- Opening new files and maintaining regular contact with clients
- Conducting thorough investigations and analyzing relevant documents
- Verifying insurance coverage and liability issues
- Managing client's medical care and appointments
- Continuously monitoring case status and reviewing medical records
- Organizing and maintaining case files
Qualifications for the Position:
- 2+ years of experience in Workers Compensation law
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients, associates, and vendors
- Capacity to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Must have a JD from an accredited university and be admitted to the GA Bar
