Job Title: E-Billing and Rates Specialist

H1: Holland & Hart is seeking an experienced E-Billing and Rates Specialist to join our Financial Services team.

H2: Support E-Billing Processes and Manage Client Rates for Law Firm Clients

Summary:

Holland & Hart, a leading law firm with multiple locations, is looking for an E-Billing and Rates Specialist to join their Client Accounting team. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on e-billing experience in a law firm or professional services firm. The E-Billing and Rates Specialist will be responsible for managing electronic billing processes for all e-billed clients, tracking client rate increase requirements, and assisting with technology functions and upgrades for the team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up clients migrating to electronic billing for all vendor third-party sites, Aderant, and BillBlast
- Monitor invoice validation, approval, reductions, and rejections for e-billed invoices to ensure full payment
- Update e-billing data such as budgets, rates, timekeepers, and disbursement mapping
- Work with Analytics team on RFP processes and new rate requests for clients
- Assist with implementation of enhancements and troubleshoot electronic billing issues
- Review and communicate e-billing guidelines and updates to billing team
- Contribute to month-end and year-end accrual activities for e-billed clients
- Assist collection team with follow-up on aged invoices submitted electronically
- Train attorneys, assistants, and billing team on Prebill Manager
- Assist with testing and training for Aderant and Prebill Manager upgrades
- Regularly review e-billing processes for improvement opportunities
- Identify and escalate issues, as appropriate, and collaborate with team members for resolution
- Assist E-Billing Supervisor with scheduling, coordinating, and workflows
- Process electronically billed invoices for assigned attorneys or clients
- Foster teamwork and encourage collaboration within the department

Qualifications:

- 5+ years hands-on e-billing experience in a law firm or professional services firm
- Advanced technical skills in E-Billing vendor sites such as T360, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Collaborati, and Passport
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to foresee problems and find solutions
- Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and solid time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, iManage, and other firm applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with various levels of personnel within the firm, clients, and e-billing vendors
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Dependability and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Absolute confidentiality and discretion

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds
- Repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to understand the speech of others

Work Environment:

- Professional office atmosphere
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods
- Occasional off-hour meetings and events

Salary Information:

Holland & Hart offers competitive salaries that take into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. The salary range for this position in Colorado is - per hour, with a discretionary bonus based on performance.
