Summary:
TransUnion is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Counsel for their Cyber Security department. This is a full-time position with locations available in Chicago, Illinois; Alpharetta, Georgia; GreenWood Village, Colorado; Reston, Virginia; and Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania. Additional locations available in White Plains, New York and Boca Raton, Florida.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating security related matters in TransUnion's partner and customer contracts. You will also provide counsel to the Global Information Security Department on new and existing domestic and international regulations, work with cross-functional teams to provide security strategy and guidance, and partner with the Global Compliance Department for security audits and compliance matters. This position also involves regular virtual and in-person work at assigned TransUnion office locations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security risk assessment and management, expertise in industry frameworks and standards, a Juris Doctorate degree with 4-6 years of experience as an attorney, and a transactional practice history with a focus on information security. They should also have the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
