Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in docketing with a rule-based calendaring system such as CompuLaw, CourtAlert, and/or eDockets. Experience with federal, state court, and agency rules is necessary. A strong understanding of the legal process and court operations, including administrative rules at federal, state, and local levels, is required. The candidate must be capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting complex legal documents, including pleadings and court rules related to various litigation practice areas.
The role demands effective communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with diverse individuals and provide information courteously and tactfully. The ability to reason and apply common sense to solve problems and follow instructions is essential. Basic mathematical skills are needed to perform date calculations. Proficiency in MS Office programs is also required. The position requires a high level of mental effort and the ability to occasionally work more than 40 hours per week.
