Cadwalader, a top Capital Markets law firm, is currently seeking mid-level and senior associates to join their team in the New York office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in securitization, structured finance, and other related areas. CLO, CMBS, Repo, and ABL finance experience would be a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of securitization and structured finance transactions, including CLOs, CMBS, and Repo
- Collaborate with clients and other attorneys to provide legal advice and support
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents and agreements
- Participate in negotiations and closings of transactions
- Manage junior associates and paralegals as needed
- Stay up-to-date on industry and regulatory developments and provide guidance to clients and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in securitization, structured finance, or related areas
- Excellent academic credentials and law firm work experience
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Admission to the New York State Bar (or ability to waive in)
