Job Title:
Jr. Healthcare Regulatory Associate (DC, NY, or Chicago)

Job Responsibilities:
The Jr. Healthcare Regulatory Associate will be part of the Healthcare Regulatory Group, focusing on aspects of health regulatory law relevant to the healthcare and life sciences industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Providing legal counsel on fraud and abuse, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine, licensing, and reimbursement.
- Assisting with regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions.
- Counseling telehealth and digital health companies.
- Engaging in regulatory and compliance counseling, transactions, investigations, and development of compliance programs.
- Working on healthcare transactions, including private equity, M&A, and investment areas.
- Collaborating with companies and investors across healthcare and life sciences industries.

Education and Experience Information:
- A JD from an accredited law school is required.
- Candidates must be licensed to practice in DC, IL, or NY.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
- Government experience at CMS, OCR, DOJ, or FDA is a plus.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements:
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, with occasional walking and standing.
- Regular in-office presence with some flexibility for work-from-home in a hybrid work environment.

Salary Information:
The expected hiring range for this position is $235,000 - $260,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. A comprehensive package of benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k), is offered.
