Corporate Counsel - Hunt Valley, MD
Sinclair, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our team in Hunt Valley, MD. This role will play a critical role in advising and managing all legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and other strategic transactions for Sinclair's television broadcast stations, private equity portfolio, and other businesses. The Corporate Counsel will also provide legal support for corporate governance matters and financing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a key legal advisor and manage all legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and other strategic transactions
Oversee due diligence, prepare disclosure schedules, and draft and negotiate complex transaction documents
Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance matters
Assist in financing transactions and review SEC filings as needed
Conduct legal research on regulatory requirements
Collaborate with executives, outside counsel, and internal management
Key Competencies:
Specialized knowledge of drafting and negotiating transaction documents for M&A, investments, and other strategic transactions
Experience with corporate governance matters and financing transactions
Proactive and self-starter on high impact projects
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Highly responsive, collaborative, business-minded, and solution-oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Leadership skills and understanding of cross-functional team dynamics
Other Requirements:
6+ years of corporate and transactional law experience
. from an ABA accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials
Admission to the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for in-house counsel registration
Local candidates preferred but relocation may be considered
On-site position at our Cockeysville, MD headquarters

Salary Information:
The base salary compensation range for this role is $225,000 to $275,000, with the potential to earn a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant work experience and skills. Full-time positions are eligible for benefits such as retirement plans, insurance, and paid time off.
