Job Title: Law Clerk - 2025 Fall Semester

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft litigation working documents and prepare concise decisions based on facts and interpretations of the law.
- Evaluate all information to determine a case's status.
- Monitor, track, and follow up on documentation, case files, or other assignments to ensure appropriate timelines are met and actions are completed.
- Prepare cases by conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
- Review cases, applications, files, and records to determine the action to be taken.

Education and Experience Information:
This position is open to current law students or recent law school graduates. Clerkships are paid and are not eligible for school credit, while externships are unpaid and may be eligible for school credit. Students should verify school credit eligibility with their college or university's internship coordinator.

Salary Information:
- 1st-year law students: $26/hour
- 2nd-year law students: $28/hour
- 3rd-year law students or recent graduates: $30/hour

Additional Information:
- This is a temporary and part-time position with no eligibility for benefits.
- Applicants must pass a criminal history check.
- Employees are subject to the Driver Eligibility standards.
- Typical office environment with potential risks such as trips and falls, and the need to observe fire regulations.
- The candidate may need to perform tasks that involve walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, and driving an automobile.
