Job Responsibilities:
The Administrative Clerk/Legal Receptionist at the law firm is responsible for managing the reception department and handling various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming clients and visitors upon arrival at reception.
- Handling multiple phone lines, conducting client intake, and managing client correspondence.
- Answering and screening phone calls in a professional manner.
- Assisting clients and visitors with locating legal staff.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Performing routine administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and filing paperwork.
- Assisting in managing office supplies and equipment.
- Performing clerical tasks, including drafting letters and other legal documents.
- Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, note-taking, and travel bookings.
- Preparing meeting facilities and arranging refreshments if required.
- Observing business etiquette and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Performing other administrative tasks as necessary to support attorneys and the office.
Education and Experience Information:
The candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak and write in both languages (required).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Comfort in working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a law firm setting or as an administrative assistant.
- An associate degree or higher is preferred.
Salary Information:
The salary for the Administrative Clerk/Legal Receptionist position at the law firm is estimated to be between $45,000 and $52,000 annually.
