Duties:

  • Manage a caseload involving real estate disputes and creditor-side mortgage litigation

  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and memoranda for court submission

  • Attend hearings and provide representation in court proceedings

  • Conduct a thorough review and analysis of documents provided by financial institutions

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide case updates and respond to inquiries

  • Collaborate with internal legal teams to ensure timely and accurate case progression

  • Participate in case strategy discussions and help guide litigation plans

Requirements:

  • Active law licenses in both Missouri and Kansas

  • Willingness to pursue bar admission in Kentucky

  • 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in real estate or mortgage-related matters

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team coordination

  • High attention to detail and organizational capability

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in good standing (Missouri and Kansas required; Kentucky a plus)

Skills:

  • Proficient legal research and writing skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication
