Manager, SALT Income Franchise - Consulting

Responsibilities:
- Work with a national team to assist clients with complex state tax issues
- Lead state tax return review engagements and identify potential refunds
- Represent clients in state and local tax controversies
- Prepare technical memoranda and provide advice on state tax matters
- Develop and maintain client relationships and supervise and mentor associates
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax research, state income tax return review, and providing technical advice on multi-state income tax issues
- Bachelor's degree required, with CPA, EA, or JD/LLM preferred
- Ability to lead teams and develop business relationships
- Excellent writing, communication, and tax research skills
- Strong ability to work in a high-energy team environment
Salary Information:
- Salary ranges vary by location and are determined based on relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market considerations
