Lateral Intake Coordinator (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
The Lateral Intake Coordinator is responsible for assisting lateral partners in efficiently opening their portable work within a law firm setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Inputting key data into Intapp Intake’s request form for opening clients and matters for Lateral Attorneys.
- Identifying and resolving issues where data may get stuck, thereby facilitating the process.
- Preparing draft engagement letters for incoming lateral partners using the portable matters chart provided by the Lateral Conflicts team.
- Reviewing draft engagement letters with lateral partners and following up on missing data to ensure timely client openings.
- Assisting with data intake, ensuring various workflow steps are advanced, including the matter-opening process and coordinating with the Information Governance team for data movement to appropriate workspaces/access.
- Updating client statuses in Integration Plans during the client opening process, sending out engagement letters, etc.
- Ensuring a smooth transition to the assigned Practice Assistant for ongoing support once portable clients have been successfully opened.
- Regularly interfacing and communicating with the lateral partner, Conflicts Team, Business Intake team, Client Contracts team, Lateral Conflicts team, Information Governance team, and Lateral Integration team.
- Tracking, analyzing, and providing status updates related to opening new clients/matters and setting up data.
- Performing special projects and duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- A strong understanding of client intake processes and data management is essential.

The base salary ranges for the Lateral Intake Coordinator position vary depending on the location within the United States. The listed salary ranges are:
