Job Title: Associate Attorney - Healthcare Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Attorney for the Healthcare Litigation team at the law firm is responsible for a variety of tasks that require strong legal acumen and experience in litigation. Key responsibilities include:

- Drafting appeals to medical insurance companies on behalf of healthcare providers.
- Engaging in extensive oral and written communication with clients and experts to conduct factual investigations and develop case strategies.
- Drafting responses to investigations conducted by medical licensing boards.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and indexing document production for legal proceedings.
- Preparing administrative law judge (ALJ) hearing and trial binders.
- Conducting negotiations with investigators to resolve disputes.
- Preparing witness outlines and exhibits for presentations at medical board hearings, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies.
- Conducting oral arguments at ALJ hearings.
- Communicating and providing status reports to insurance company claim representatives.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Associate Attorney position should meet the following requirements:

- Possess 1-4 years of experience in litigation, with healthcare experience considered a plus.
- Be admitted to practice law in at least one . state.
- Have experience performing most or all of the job responsibilities outlined above.
- Demonstrate exceptional writing and oral communication skills.
- Exhibit strong legal research skills.
- Be a strong listener and communicator with excellent organizational skills.
- Show a team-player mindset with the ability to work cohesively and collaboratively with a team of attorneys.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and the ability to manage a large caseload while meeting deadlines.
- A minimum law school GPA of is preferred.
- Must be willing to work in the Pine Brook, NJ office at least two days per week.

Salary Information:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $155,000 to $175,000 per year. However, the actual salary may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's years of experience and other factors.
