Job Title: Regional Closing Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the leader in the closing of deals and a key member of the client team.
- Coordinate due diligence activities within Loan Administration.
- Directly follow up with clients for scheduling, documents, and questions related to closing.
- Act as the primary contact for outside attorneys to ensure all closing documents are ready.
- Ensure deals are funded and boarded accurately.
- Issue the "Clear to Close" signal indicating all conditions have been met to move the deal to closed, execute legal documents, and fund the transaction.
- Ensure a positive onboarding experience for all clients.
- Serve as a key control point to ensure the bank follows its policies and procedures.
- Work directly with clients for all matters related to closing and involve other internal partners as needed.
- Review closing checklists for completion.
- Manage and communicate the closing timeline and date.
- Determine the need for internal or attorney-prepared documents and engage attorneys if necessary.
- Manage legal invoices if required.
- Set up exceptions and approve trailing or missing documents.
- Coordinate with Funding & Boarding to execute funding instructions before closing.
- Conduct post-boarding review and work closely with post-close teams.
Education and Experience Information:
- Required: .
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking.
- Preferred: Previous experience as a Paralegal or part of a Law Firm.
- Additional Qualifications: Client-facing presence, project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities, organizational and time management skills.
- Recommended experience: Prior closing experience, paralegal experience (understanding legal language and documents), credit experience, or understanding of experience.
- Understanding of bank policies and procedures relating to loan closing conditions, documents, and services.
Salary Information:
