Job Title: 711 Clerkship - Paid

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and prepare memos on pending legal issues.
- Assist with the preparation of daily court call and its breakdown at the end of court.
- Participate in on-the-record daily court calls.
- Prepare motions, answers, and other legal filings as required.
- Assist with the preparation of discovery, including video, audio, and document evidence review and organization.
- Interview witnesses and law enforcement personnel.
- Assist with motions and trials as needed.
- Aid in the notification of witnesses.

Education and Experience Information:
- Must be a rising 3L law student at an ABA-approved law school or must qualify for a 711 license if in an alternative law school program.
- Must be in good standing with your law school, with a GPA of and above, and not be on any type of academic probation.
- Must have, or be able to obtain prior to the start of the clerkship, a 711 license.
- Experience with Moot Court and/or Mock Trial is preferred.

Salary Information:
- Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Additional Information:
- This opportunity is only available to rising 3L law students with an anticipated graduation date of May or December 2027.

- The internship is full-time, requiring 32-40 hours a week.
- The position is classified as Non-Union/Hourly.
- Physical requirements include sedentary work, which involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Some walking and standing are necessary in carrying out job duties.
