We are currently seeking a skilled Assistant General Counsel to join our Legal Department. The successful candidate will support the legal team in contract drafting, legal research, healthcare regulatory compliance, and general legal assistance. This is a remote position with a Monday to Friday schedule and a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on labor and employment matters, including employee relations, policies, and workplace compliance.
- Act as a legal liaison between HR, operations, and other internal departments to ensure compliance with employment and healthcare regulations.
- Assist with internal investigations, policy development, and legal risk assessments.
- Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts, including responding to employment-related claims.
Requirements:
- . degree from an accredited law school and an active Bar license.
- 5+ years of employment litigation experience.
- Experience in multi-state labor and employment matters.
- Strong understanding of labor and employment law, including federal and state regulations impacting healthcare organizations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong research and drafting capabilities.
