Job Title: Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Intellectual Property department at the law firm. The role involves a variety of tasks that are crucial for the smooth operation of the practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Compiling, preparing, and summarizing written materials for attorneys involved in all phases of intellectual property litigation.
- Drafting routine court documents, which will then be reviewed and approved by attorneys.
- Preparing pleadings and other docketed materials for service and filing, with a strong emphasis on electronic filing using the Delaware District Court’s CM/ECF system and related platforms.
- Managing and updating attorney calendars, with particular attention given to court dates and other case-related deadlines.
- Indexing, tracking, and controlling exhibits and other materials for depositions, hearings, or trials.
- Performing general administrative support functions as necessary to meet deadlines and further the objectives of the practice group.
Education and Experience:
Candidates must meet the following education and experience requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Intellectual Property is required.
- Experience with electronic filing in the Delaware court systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Availability to accommodate the demands of a busy litigation practice, including working regular overtime when necessary to meet client and court deadlines.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of business software products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A team-focused attitude, with a willingness to perform any level of support task to meet the needs of the practice group as a whole.
Salary Information:
The position offers a competitive salary starting from $60, per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Schedule:
