The Los Angeles Superior Court (LASC) is currently offering an exciting opportunity for students enrolled in paralegal schools, colleges, and universities throughout LA County. This internship program provides hands-on experience in a variety of legal areas, such as Family Law, Civil, and Criminal.

As a paralegal intern, you will have the chance to work in specialized programs, including the Family Law Facilitator’s Office and Self-Help Centers, where you will be trained by experienced paralegals and attorneys. Your responsibilities may include assisting with the preparation of legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues.

This internship also offers numerous benefits, including exposure to various legal fields, experience in preparing legal documents, networking opportunities, and an overview of Court procedures and procedures. While the positions are unpaid, the experience gained is invaluable for those interested in pursuing a career in the paralegal field.

To be eligible for this internship, you must have completed prerequisite courses in Civil Litigation and/or Family Law. The program also requires a commitment of at least one semester and a minimum of 12 hours of work per week. The internship is open to adults, attorneys, and paralegal interns.
