Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Associate will join the diverse litigation practice of a well-respected law firm, which involves civil litigation across a wide range of subject matter areas. The responsibilities include:
- Collaborating closely with members of other practice groups within the firm.
- Regularly appearing in state and federal courts throughout New York.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Drafting and arguing motions.
- Appearing regularly in court to represent clients.
Education and Experience:
Candidates for the Litigation Associate position must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (.) are required.
- Admission to the New York State Bar is mandatory.
- The ideal candidate should have 2-6 years of relevant litigation experience.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.
- The role is eligible for a performance bonus of up to 50% of the salary.
