We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney to assist us in addressing the complex legal needs of our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on business formation and general corporate matters
- Draft and negotiate a variety of legal documents related to corporate transactions
- Handle mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and closing procedures
- Represent clients in disputes and litigation, working closely with our litigation department
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting New York businesses
- Develop risk management and compliance strategies for clients
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the State of New York
- 4-7 years of experience in business law, specifically in corporate transactions
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
