About the Program:
The Court's volunteer programs are designed to provide participants with practical work experience, skill development, and an understanding of the judicial system. The Paralegal program offers participants the opportunity to work on cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues, while also gaining experience in preparing legal documents and networking with professionals in the field.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues
• Gain experience in preparing legal documents and networking with professionals in the field
• Learn about Court processes and procedures

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a paralegal school, college, or university in LA County
• Completed a paralegal certificate program in a paralegal school, college, or university
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
