Law Firm Seeking Experienced Class Action Litigation Associate in Chicago, IL
Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 annually

Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage class action cases, including overseeing case strategy and progress
- Conduct extensive legal research and analysis
- Draft motions and legal documents
- Represent clients in court
- Expertise in class certification, settlement negotiations, and strategic mindset
- Strong litigation experience and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for class members
Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate class action cases from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case arguments and motions
- Lead pivotal motions such as class certification, Daubert, and summary judgment
- Oversee discovery process and communicate with clients, class members, and experts
- Take and defend depositions to gather key information and support case arguments
- Thrive in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with legal team to develop strategies and ensure efficient case management
- Additional duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of class action laws, rules, and procedures
- Strong litigation skills and ability to manage complex cases
- Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting abilities
- Experience managing and leading a legal team
- Effective communication skills and strategic mindset
- Open to constructive feedback
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s)
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in complex litigation with focus on class actions, mass torts, or large-scale legal matters
- Proven experience in managing class action lawsuits
