Duties:
Manage a full caseload of civil litigation matters
Prepare initial case assessments and status reports
Conduct motion practice and legal research
Draft and respond to discovery requests
Take and defend depositions
Communicate directly with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
Track and record time accurately for billing purposes
Provide guidance and oversight to junior associates
Requirements:
3–6 years of experience handling civil litigation matters in state and/or federal court
Demonstrated ability to manage litigation independently and meet deadlines
Prior experience with insurance defense preferred but not required
Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar
Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in litigation strategy, motion practice, and case management
Skilled in deposition practice and discovery
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases efficiently
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
