Job Title: Acquisition Finance Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Acquisition Finance Associate will support the Corporate and Private Equity practice at the law firm. The Corporate and Private Equity Department is comprised of over 90 attorneys focusing on various private equity transactions. These transactions include leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, "going private" transactions, and purchases of troubled companies in or out of bankruptcy. The associate will be part of a team representing emerging managers and other general partners, as well as significant limited partners, in forming private equity, growth equity, venture capital, mezzanine, and real estate funds. The law firm is recognized as a leading national firm representing emerging managers through its internationally acclaimed emerging manager program. The associate will be expected to contribute to the department's national platform and further expand it. Additionally, the associate will have the opportunity to work on borrower-side matters and lead acquisition financing transactions for private equity funds.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Acquisition Finance Associate position should have 2-5 years of experience in acquisition financing transactions for private equity funds. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead transactions and should have experience working on borrower-side matters. A strong academic record is required, along with excellent writing and oral communication skills. The candidate should have the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues. Furthermore, the candidate must be barred in California.
Salary Information:
The law firm offers a competitive salary for the Acquisition Finance Associate position, ranging from $235,000 to $355,000.
