Job Responsibilities:
• Handle complex commercial litigation cases, including shareholder/partnership disputes, defaulted financial transactions, creditors rights matters, and real estate litigation.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates.
• Attend court conferences, hearings, and conduct depositions.
• Participate in all phases of discovery.
• Work independently under pressure.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in good standing in the State of New York.
• 4-8 years of experience practicing in commercial and/or Trusts & Estates litigation matters.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom experience is preferred.
• Trusts & Estates litigation or Employment Practices litigation experience is a plus.
Salary and Benefits:
• Competitive salary ranging from $140K to $180K, based on experience and office location.
