The Law Firm is currently looking for a 2025 Summer Associate to join our team and provide legal services to our clients. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a technical background in mechanical or biomedical engineering to gain hands-on experience in patent prosecution, strategy, due diligence, licensing, and trademark counseling.

Responsibilities:

- Perform patent prosecution, patent strategy, due diligence, licensing, some trademark counseling and prosecution, and other legal services for clients as needed
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to develop effective legal strategies for our clients
- Conduct research and analysis on various legal issues and provide recommendations to attorneys
- Assist with drafting legal documents, including patent applications and agreements
- Attend client meetings and participate in client interactions

Technical Background:

- Must have a technical undergraduate degree
- Strongly preferred background in mechanical or biomedical engineering

Bar Requirements:

- Registration with the . Patent and Trademark Office is strongly preferred
- Eligibility to take the . patent bar is required

Salary Information:

The summer associate compensation for Summer 2025 will be determined by March 2025. However, for reference, the summer associate compensation for Summer 2024 was , $10,, $261k/annual.
