Associate General Counsel, Real Estate, Commercial, and Franchising - Lead the legal aspects of real estate and construction, commercial, and franchise operations at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..

Location: San Francisco, CA; Dallas, TX; Independence, OH; or Overland Park, KS

Responsibilities:

- Review, draft, and negotiate real estate agreements such as leases, purchase agreements, and easements.
- Manage eminent domain actions and coordinate with in-house and outside counsel.
- Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions.
- Provide legal advice on real estate, development, and corporate matters.
- Support in-house litigation team on real estate and construction-related matters.
- Oversee and improve processes and procedures for Franchise and Development Agreements.
- Strategize and develop commercial contract practices to optimize terms and minimize risk.
- Supervise and develop internal team members in the Real Estate, Commercial, and Franchising practice group.
- Provide quarterly reports on practice areas, manage outside counsel and budget.

Requirements:

- 12+ years of real estate experience in a law firm or as an in-house attorney.
- Juris Doctor degree and member of at least one state bar.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage multiple objectives and initiatives.
- Dedication to exceptional client service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound business judgment and common sense.
- Positive attitude and passion for practicing law.

California Candidates:

- Estimated base salary range of $195,000 - $250,000, with a target discretionary incentive bonus of 20%.
