Job Title: Contracts Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a busy contract queue by thoroughly reviewing contracts and triaging other legal requests, engaging with legal counsel when necessary.
- Serve as the first point of contact for escalations from Procurement and other internal teams that require legal input, addressing issues efficiently and ensuring alignment with internal policies.
- Conduct initial reviews of contracts to assess risks related to contract language and internal legal thresholds, collaborating with stakeholders to effectively mitigate these risks.
- Review and negotiate a wide variety of vendor contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, DSAs, and other general commercial terms and conditions.
- Communicate complex legal concepts and contract terms to various stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams.
- Maintain a library of form documents, contract clauses, templates, and historical documents, making updates to the material as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Privacy and Security to develop, maintain, and update contract templates, playbooks, and policies.
- Provide input into the formulation, development, and/or revision of operating policies, procedures, and strategies for the procurement legal function, as appropriate.

Education and Experience Information:
- . or . degree; paralegal certification is a plus but not required.
- 3+ years of relevant business or legal experience.
- Ability to meet the needs of a high-growth, fast-paced Internet company.
- Great organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workloads while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creative negotiation and problem-solving skills, balancing good judgment and business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating collaboration by cultivating relationships and communicating with legal and cross-functional partners.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads, multiple stakeholder demands, and ever-shifting priorities, all while instilling confidence.
- Ability to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive attitude to the workplace.

Bonus Points:
- Experience in a legal setting (law firm or in-house).
- Experience with colocation and/or wholesale internet infrastructure agreements.
- Experience with inbound contracting and industry-leading procurement processes.
- Experience using process/document management systems similar to CERTA, Zip, Ironclad, Jira, and/or DocuSign.

Salary Information:
- Compensation may be adjusted depending on the work location.
- For Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, and Minnesota-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $102,000 - $124,000.
- For New York City, Washington, Washington ., and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $119,000 - $145,000.
