Litigation Training: Assistant District Attorney:
- Serve as a Staff Attorney in the Litigation Training Bureau of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
- Work directly with Bureau management on research projects, training programs, and recruiting outside talent
- Update legal materials and lecture at various training programs and Continuing Legal Education sessions
- Maintain compliance with New York State Continuing Legal Education Board requirements
- Represent the Office at designated outside events
- Mentor summer interns and assist with mentorship programming
- Minimum qualifications include a Juris Doctorate degree, 5 years of trial and/or appellate experience, and knowledge of New York's Penal Law and Criminal Procedures Law
- Residency in New York State is required on the first day of employment
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness and federal loan forgiveness programs may be available to eligible employees

Job Description:
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a well-qualified Assistant District Attorney to join our team as a Staff Attorney in the Litigation Training Bureau. In this role, you will work directly with the Bureau management on various projects and programs, including research, training, and recruitment. You will also update legal materials and lecture at training programs and Continuing Legal Education sessions. Other responsibilities include maintaining compliance with New York State Continuing Legal Education Board requirements, representing the Office at designated events, and mentoring summer interns.
Minimum qualifications for this position include a Juris Doctorate degree, 5 years of trial and/or appellate experience, and a strong knowledge of New York's Penal Law and Criminal Procedures Law. Residency in New York State is required on the first day of employment. Teaching and lecture experience is a plus, but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree and member in good standing of . State bar
- Minimum of 5 years trial and/or appellate experience
- . citizenship and New York State residency required on the first day of employment
- Firm knowledge of and experience with New York's Penal Law and Criminal Procedures Law
- Teaching and lecture experience not required but a plus
- Exemplary ability to exercise good judgment and strong ethics
