Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Trial experience.
- Draft Complaint, Response, Motion, Discovery, Meet & Confers.
- Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions.
- Attend hearings and trials, attend pre-trial conferences on State and Federal Court matters.
- Retain expert witnesses and develop trial strategies.
- Provide guidance and counsel to clients.
- Negotiate and settle cases.
- Independently manage a caseload.
- Document all legal action and communication on case files through firm software.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice in the State of New York and Northern District of New York required, other jurisdictions a plus.
- At least 5 years of legal experience.
