Job Title: Appellate Associate Immigration Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
As an Appellate Immigration Attorney at the law firm, your role is integral to the mission of safeguarding and empowering clients seeking legal status in the United States. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and analyzing denial decisions to develop strategic responses for appeals.
- Collaborating with team members to coordinate legal strategies and manage cases effectively.
- Preparing and overseeing various case filings, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Performing attorney-level review and edits of submissions to USCIS.
- Conducting in-depth legal research to address unique case challenges.
- Drafting and preparing briefs for Requests for Evidence (RFEs), motions to reconsider or reopen, and appeals.
- Staying informed of legislative and regulatory changes affecting immigration law.
- Devising solutions to complex legal issues while guiding team members in a collaborative, supportive environment.
- Handling additional responsibilities as required to support the mission of the law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- An active Bar license in good standing in any . state is mandatory.
- 2-5 years of experience in immigration law, especially in areas such as family and humanitarian-based petitions, asylum, removal defense, immigration, and appellate proceedings, is required.

- Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills are necessary.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying schedules is expected.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in reading and writing English are crucial.
- Advanced computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software are required.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Salary Information:
Compensation for this full-time position is between $100,000-150,000 annually.
