Job Description

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team in Hammond, IN. This individual will have the opportunity to litigate in a variety of practice areas, including product liability, toxic tort, class-action and mass tort, and medical malpractice. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in overall case management, including drafting critical motions, developing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in court proceedings. We value individuals with excellent academic credentials and strong presentation skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit to pursue new opportunities in expanding practice areas.

Responsibilities:

Litigate cases in various practice areas, including product liability, toxic tort, class-action and mass tort, and medical malpractice
Draft critical motions and develop written discovery
Take and defend depositions
Participate in court proceedings
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Pursue new opportunities in expanding practice areas

Qualifications:

1-5 years of experience in overall case management
Trial and appellate experience preferred
Excellent academic credentials
Immaculate presentation skills
Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients
Entrepreneurial spirit to pursue new opportunities

Salary Information:

Anticipated salary range of $110,000-$225,000, commensurate with experience and background
Additional income opportunities, including discretionary profit-sharing contributions and merit-based discretionary bonus
