Job Title: Corporate Counsel
Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, addressing a wide range of corporate legal matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, documents, letters, and other legal materials to ensure compliance and protect the company's interests.
- Conducting research and analysis of laws and government regulations applicable to the business, ensuring that the company operates within legal frameworks.
- Collaborating with department attorneys and staff to provide cohesive and comprehensive legal support.
- Offering sound, practical legal advice to senior-level business clients, instilling confidence and providing solutions to complex issues in a timely and understandable manner.
- Exhibiting a strong work ethic and working efficiently, reliably, and responsively to meet the needs of the organization.
- Taking ownership of complex projects in one or more specialized areas of law, utilizing sound and independent judgment and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
Other functions include:
- Demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with many stakeholders.
- Making confident, risk-managed decisions and judgments.
- Exhibiting utmost professionalism in all settings and deploying strong advocacy skills in a tactful and effective manner.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- 0-5 years of legal experience.
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state in the .
- Residency in Las Vegas, Nevada is required.
