A well-established Florida-based law firm is seeking a junior-level Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its dynamic and collaborative real estate practice group in Sarasota, Florida. This position offers hands-on experience in a wide range of real estate transactions, including commercial and residential property, land development, financing, and construction. The role is ideal for an attorney with 1 to 5 years of legal experience who is either licensed in Florida or planning to sit for the Florida Bar.

Duties:
Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, and closing documents
Conduct legal due diligence including title and survey review
Support a variety of real estate transactions for clients including developers, investors, and lenders
Assist with matters related to condominium and subdivision development, land use, and finance
Collaborate with team members across practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
Ensure compliance with Florida real estate regulations and laws
Manage transaction timelines, client communications, and closing coordination
Requirements:
1 to 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney
Prior experience in real estate transactions preferred
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Demonstrated interest in real estate law and client-focused legal practice
Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first approach
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar, or willingness to sit for the Florida Bar
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in legal research, document drafting, and transactional due diligence
