Paralegal Program:
- Provides quality paralegal work experience.
- Participants will assist with the preparation of legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues.
- Placement areas include Family Law (Self-Help Centers, Domestic Violence Clinic, Guardianship Clinic, Toll Family Law Counseling Center with LAFLA).
- Ideal for students currently enrolled in paralegal schools, colleges, and universities throughout LA County or individuals who have completed a Paralegal certificate program.
What to Expect:
- If qualified, applicants will be placed on an eligibility list for up to 6 months and considered for available opportunities.
- Applicants will be notified of their application status via email.
- It is the applicant's responsibility to determine if the Court's program meets the requirements of their specific course/program to receive credit.

- Willing to work in various locations throughout LA County.
- Available Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
- Plan to commit to the program for 3 months.
- Not under 18 years old.
- Referral from high school counselor, instructor, or representative of participating organization.
- Will not be receiving accreditation or course credit for a school or certification program.
- Not referred by any organization or program.
- No specific department, litigation area, or judge/commissioner requested.
- Not applying as part of a cohort.
