Position Summary:
- As a Paralegal at Campaign Legal Center, you will play a critical role in our litigation team, supporting our trial and appellate litigation across various issue areas.
- This is a full-time hybrid role that requires living in the Washington, DC area and completing in-person tasks, such as court filings, depositions, and trials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare court documents by citation-checking, proof-reading, and formatting them to comply with court rules.
- File court documents and liaise with court clerks' offices.
- Assist with deposition, pre-trial, and trial preparation.
- Maintain bar and court memberships for attorneys.
- Assist with discovery work and maintain electronic case files.
- Provide legal assistance to non-litigation attorneys as needed.
- Manage projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a paralegal or in a similar support role at a law firm, advocacy organization, government agency, or other entity engaged in federal litigation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Adobe Acrobat, as well as Bluebook citation rules.
- Familiarity with e-discovery software is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in public-interest legal work is a plus.
Interview/Hiring Timeline:
- The interview process is expected to take approximately 8 weeks.
- It will consist of a Zoom interview and a short Bluebook assessment for selected candidates.
