Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Tax, Trusts, and Estates
Job Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant at the law firm is tasked with supporting Attorneys and Paralegals within the Tax, Trusts, and Estates department. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing heavy calendaring for attorneys to ensure efficient scheduling and time management.
- Coordinating with other departments to confirm appointments, ensuring seamless integration of schedules.
- Communicating effectively with clients via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service.
- Creating and maintaining accurate database records to support departmental needs.
- Preparing routine correspondence to assist in daily operations.
- Overseeing project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Managing documents meticulously to maintain organization and accessibility.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a law firm or office environment is required.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is necessary.
- Candidates should possess excellent administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are crucial.
- Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
- Accurate typing abilities and prior exposure to Microsoft Office programs are essential.
- The ability to operate computers, photocopiers/scanners, and fax machines is necessary.
- A college degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
- The position requires frequent standing and walking.
- The ability to sit for up to four hours at a time is necessary.
- Bending and stooping may be required as needed.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is between $40, to $70, annually.
