Job Title: Manager, Commercial and Contracts - EY Law

Job Responsibilities:

- Review, redline, and negotiate a wide range of transactional contracts, including those involving procurement and sale of services, technology, data, content, and products, both within and outside the supply chain.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to mitigate identified risks in contract language and ensure that commercial objectives are achieved within stipulated timeframes.
- Communicate independently with clients’ business and legal stakeholders to build and strengthen relationships.
- Understand and operate within client-specific processes and negotiation strategies.
- Work with a team to ensure service delivery aligns with the agreed project scope, ensuring overall client satisfaction and compliance with SLAs, while actively identifying client needs and ways to fulfill them.
- Contribute to and lead regular communication forums involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the point of escalation for the project team to address both technical and people management issues.
- Create executive summaries of executed contracts to enable client business teams to understand risk and compliance positions.
- Understand, implement, and facilitate the use of Contract Management technologies appropriate to client needs.
- Innovate and improve current processes and techniques, including those related to workflow, time, and knowledge management.
- Facilitate reporting via daily/weekly/monthly metrics packs to internal and external project stakeholders, possibly including members of senior management.

Education and Experience Information:

- Licensed Attorney with 2 to 6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house with a large multinational corporation.
- Ability to work with different contract structures and strong issue-spotting ability.
- Experience in contract negotiation, handling volumes across various transactions on both the buy and sell side.
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills at all levels, including both formal and informal presentation skills.
- Familiarity with technology and a willingness to keep abreast of the changing environment.
- Highly responsive to the needs of both internal (including reporting managers, other project managers, and team members) and external clients.
- Strong relationship and people leadership skills; a team player who facilitates and encourages different points of view and effectively manages any associated conflict.
- High energy, self-starter, ability to work independently, analytical, quick learner, organized, flexible to change, and results-driven.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills are desirable.

Salary Information:

- The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,100 to $233,000.
- The base salary range for the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,500 to $264,800.
- Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through various factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
