Job Title: Associate Attorney - Worker's Compensation
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Litigate cases before the South Carolina Worker's Compensation Commission.
- Manage worker's compensation cases independently from start to closure.
- Draft legal documents such as Motions, Consent Orders, Pleadings, etc.
- Provide support for partners at the law firm and assist in the defense and discovery of claims.
Education and Experience Information:
- 0-4 years of Worker's Compensation Defense experience is preferred.
- Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
- The candidate should be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively articulate laws to clients.
- Proficient legal writing, research, and communication skills are essential.
