Duties:

• Handle insurance coverage matters from inception through resolution

• Analyze policy language across a variety of coverage lines, including CGL, D&O, E&O, and excess/umbrella policies

• Draft legal memoranda, coverage opinions, and position letters

• Represent clients in coverage litigation, including motion practice and court appearances

• Collaborate with clients to assess risks and develop strategic legal approaches

• Work closely with other attorneys in the group to manage caseloads efficiently

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of recent and relevant experience in insurance coverage law

• Demonstrated proficiency in handling complex insurance coverage matters

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional legal research and analytical capabilities

• Ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts

• Licensed to practice law in New York State

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited . law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of coverage disputes and policy analysis

• Skilled in litigation strategy, pleadings, and dispositive motions

• Proficient in legal research platforms and Microsoft Office Suite

• Effective case and time management abilities

• Strong client service orientation and professional judgment
