Job Title: Legal Internship, Spring
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Attorney General’s Legal Internship Program during the spring semester.
- Assist in various legal tasks within assigned divisions, which may include the Criminal Bureau, Financial Investigations Division, and others.
- Support the investigation and prosecution of a wide array of criminal cases, including public corruption, financial fraud, organized crime, major narcotic offenses, and cyber crimes.
- Collaborate with prosecutors, State Police detectives, victim witness advocates, and support staff.
- Analyze and forensically examine evidence related to allegations of criminal misconduct, particularly those involving financial crimes.
- Work under the supervision of experienced legal professionals and contribute to the preparation and management of legal cases.
Education and Experience Information:
- The internship program is designed specifically for students currently enrolled in law school.
- Individuals who have completed law school are not eligible for this program.
- Legal interns are typically assigned to a particular division within the office based on the needs and requests of the divisions.
Salary Information:
- The internship positions offered through the Attorney General’s Office are unpaid.
Additional Information:
- Legal interns are accepted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the needs of the individual divisions.
