Shumaker is seeking an experienced Real Estate Staff Attorney to join their team in Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney with at least 3 years of commercial real estate law experience to engage in sophisticated and challenging work for clients in Ohio and nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and an active bar license, with the ability to obtain an Ohio license. Strong technological skills and superior research skills are also required, along with project management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality is also crucial for this role.

As a Real Estate Staff Attorney at Shumaker, you will focus on drafting, preparation, and negotiating commercial real estate documents, as well as conducting diligence in real estate transactions. This includes reviewing titles, surveys, and zoning documents.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

- Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a time
- Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per day
